Snow Crystal Quilt Class
Come take our Snow Quilt Class. This is the beautiful you will be making. We will be showing you how to add your own flair with different border options. This class is $70.00 for all 3 sessions March 19, 26 and April 2nd from 10am – 4pm. We have kits available so stop by and pick yours out.
Sit and Sew & Pot Luck
We are opening up our workroom from 10 am to 5 pm on Tuesday, April 22 for you to come “sit and sew”. Bring something to work on and a dish to share. Meet new friends or just spend time with old friends. There is no charge for this get together!

Mystery Day Retreat
Don’t miss out on one of our fun “Day Mystery Quilt Retreat”. Our next one is scheduled for May 6th and 7th . You may stay over night if you like for a small additional fee or just come from 10 am – 4 pm each day. Mix and Mingle Retreat
So you want to retreat but you can’t get enough people together to make your own retreat, or you don’t know enough people that quilt to make up a private retreat….we have just what you are looking for sign up for our Mix and Mingle Retreat on October 19-21st. There will be an Art & Antique Fair in Downtown Van Alstyne that you will be able to walk to. We will make a reservation for the Durning House on Friday for lunch, but the rest of the weekend you will be on your own for food, lots of great places to try out while you’re here or you can bring your own and use our kitchen. Ladies this is a great get-away

April Murder Mystery Retreat
Oh no! We need your assistance! There has been a murder at the HAUNTED ALFORD INN! Please come join us to solve this puzzle and while your here make a mystery quilt, eat great food, meet new people and laugh till you wet your pants!!!!! We will be giving you clues to make the Mystery Quilt by day and by night you will be trying to solve the Murder Mystery.
Cost: $200.00 (includes lodging, meals, quilt kit & comedy!)
Supplies: Sewing machine and regular sewing notions.

Over the Rainbow Block of the Month
Edyta Sitar from Laundry Basket Quilts has designed a beautiful block of the month, Spring Bouquet 
using her new batik fabric line “Over the Rainbow”.
This block of the month comes with her silhouettes which are laser cut applique shapes with pre-applied fusible webbing already on them! How much simpler can you get! Quilt will measure 72×72 and the first month will ship (or can be picked up) September 1, 2012.

Day Mystery Retreat
We are offering our first Mystery Quilt Day Retreat. This class includes clues for quilt and lunch both days. You will need your sewing machine and regular sewing notions. This is a two day class from 10-4 but if you would like to spend the night you may for a small additional fee.
You will laugh, eat, sew and make new friends plus (hopefully) take home a beautiful quilt top that started out a MYSTERY~!
